To propose the appropriate amendments for a site requires a knowledge of past, present, and future. Such items as historical & existing values, uses, and conditions as well as potential are critical to understanding accurately the actions that can and/or must take place to remedy and improve any site. Given that each project location is distinctly unique, careful research and planning regarding each area is important to complete prior to any groundwork in order that the most effective and efficient solution is discovered. This methodology allows available funding to be directed towards the most necessary areas instead of becoming lost in dead-end ideas and actions driving the project without clear intent. To fulfill those requirements, CSR’s full Design Department utilizes state-of-the-art technology such as AutoCAD, GIS, Photoshop, and others to provide clients with conceptual graphic design drawings for project visualization, as well as construction documents to assist during the planning and construction processes. During the design phase of a project, the design department works in close conjunction with the Biology and Propagation departments in order to correctly design each place appropriately according to aspect, water, soils, location and many other constraints.
